The Aleppo soap is known for its softness, its longevity and its strong aroma coming from the laurel oil and olive.
Olive oil nourishes and softens the skin and has an emollient effect on the skin, while laurel oil reestablishes the hydrolipidic film of the skin and possesses an antiseptic and disinfectant effect.
It is the quantity of this oil (between 1% and 20%) that gives these soaps their dermatological value and their efficiency.
With a content of more than 20% in laurel oil, Aleppo soap is recommended for acne, eczema, psoriasis, milk crusts, dry skin and dandruffs.
