Sandalwood australian oil is a clear, pale yellow to golden liquid with a sweet, warm, rich woody odor with a slightly smoky balsamic background.

• Traditional Uses:

  - generally used for ornamental objects and furniture

  - used in incense sticks or further powdered for use in sachets to scent stored clothes

  - widely used in the perfume industry for its tenacious base note, which acts as a fixative, and its ability to blend and harmonise with other essential oils

  THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES:

  Lymphatic - beneficial for treating venous and lymphatic stasis such as varicose veins and swollen lymph nodes

  Nervous - helps to relax the nerves and may be used to relieve headache, insomnia and nervous tension

  Respiratory - recommended for the treatment of respiratory tract infections and chronic bronchitis

  Urinary - recommended for the treatment of gonorrhoea and urinary tract infections

  Skincare- used to relieve ezema and psoriasis and for the treatment of oily skin and acne

• IN A AROMA DIFFUSER / HUMIDIFIER / NEBULISER

  Add 30 to 40 drops (1.5 – 2ml) or as suggested by the manufacturer.

  IN AN OIL BURNER

  Add 5 to 10 drops (0.2 to 0.5ml) to warm water in the lid of a burner. Light a tealight candle and place in the hearth of the burner. The heat will allow the scent to diffuse and fill the room of about 10 to 20 m2.

  IN A MASSAGE

  Add 3 to 5 drops (0.2ml) to 15 ~ 30ml of a carrier oil. Massage deeply into muscle.

  Always store in dark glass bottle and in a cool and dark place away from heat and sunlight.

  Do not use a plastic container.

  SAFETY

  Non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitising.

  CAUTION

  Always dilute with carrier oil before applying on skin

  Perform a patch test to observe allergic reactions before use.
